Football

Football
Belly, trap, sweep, pitch, quarter back, tackle, guard, center. Those are all plays and positions from football. Even though football is a complex sport to understand, many families love to watch the games and athletes play.

The plays of football are hard to understand and can be confusing to many people. 822 trap, is one of the plays that the Pewaukee Pirates use. It’s very easy, yet most people would be confused a how to do it. There are also harder plays to understand like the 937 power blast jet sweep or the 825 belly jet pass. When people first hear the play they think we’re nuts but once you show them how it goes, anybody could do it.
To win in football you have to get points. You can get six points for getting a touchdown. In order to get a touchdown you have to run plays like the 829 jet pitch to get down the field. But you have to get ten yards every four plays or you turn the ball over to the other team. After you get a touchdown you get to kick an extra point. Although you get the chose to kick the ball into the field goal for one point or trying to run or throw the ball into the end zone from the three yard line. If you run or throw the ball in then you get 2 points. Another way to score points is to make a field goal. If you get a field goal you get three points and most teams in the NFL go for a field goal when it’s fourth down and when their within 40 yards of the field goal. The last way to score points is by getting a safety. The way you get a safety is by tackling the person with the ball. But you have to tackle them in their own end zone. A safety is worth 2 points.
Although football is a difficult sport to play, many people watch or go to the games and the athletic people that play. The games are on Sundays and Mondays so watch the games and try to learn how to play. Maybe you could play too.

  1. I thought your story was okay. The game of football was is very complex but you did a goodjob explaning the points and how you get points. It was was kind of hard what you were tryin to explain about the plays. Not everyone knows about the plays and saying 822 makes them think all plays are like that. When they aren't like our plays. Everything was good and I liked the idea of your writing.
